Atiq Ahmad
An internationally trained economist and a commodities trader for wheat in Dubai, Atiq arrived in Toronto in 2004 and opened his first franchise one year later. Now the winner of three worldwide Popeyes awards, including “Leader of the Year”, Atiq focuses on ensuring that all around him are successful too. “I believe that my success is because of my people. I want to give them a chance to succeed as well.”
Atiq is one of the key Franchisees of Popeyes Canada. He provides vision to his organizations for future expansion as well as guidance for the continual growth of existing businesses. Atiq has been president of MAC (Media Advisory Committee) for the brand for consecutive 10 years. In addition he has been an active part of various committees such as Beverage & Supply Chain committees.

Naseer Malik
Naseer holds a Masters degree in Integrated Manufacturing & Production Control from University of Toronto and has extensive experience in Operations Management. His vast project management experience in aerospace and auto industries helped him to apply these skills at AA Group of Companies. His key role is to develop systems to standardize restaurant functionality across the board as well as provide leadership to the group for meeting Operational Standards. In his current role Naseer also provides direction to Development and Operational teams.

Junaid Ahmad
Junaid is a graduate with Masters degree in Finance and has in-depth knowledge of QSR with a decade-long hands-on experience with restaurant teams. In his role Junaid oversees new projects across Canada ranging from new site leasing to full construction and launch of Popeyes. Junaid also leads our in house Accounting team with monthly performance reviews of our great restaurants generating more than $50M revenue annually.

Ebrahim Ismail
Ebrahim Ismail is a Travel industry courteous veteran with over 29 years of experience who has held various leadership positions in Retail and Sales throughout his career. He started his career as a travel consultant after graduating from IATA’s Headquarters in Montreal. He joined the travel industry as a travel consultant and grew into a senior management position by learning and implementing extensive knowledge of the leisure and corporate travel sector.
During his illustrious career, Ebrahim has been providing the best values of travel and tourism to his clients by arranging incentive vacations, group travels, tour packages, corporate travel, Hajj and Umrah services, etc.
Ebrahim has a vast network of industry contacts and is passionate about his knowledge sharing and the best possible practices. He thrives on the creation of innovative tools and solutions that enable peers and stakeholders to excel in their roles.
